Newcastle Airport Trial: First-Stage Prototype Units
With over 2 billion entries and exits through the UK’s top 20 stations and airports every year, automatic hand sanitisation in travel hubs is of vital importance. In December 2020, SwiftZap trialled the first-stage prototype units at Newcastle International Airport as a part of a pilot study. Used daily for the entire month, SwiftZap resulted in over 70% uptake of hand sanitiser.
